The scenario was almost the same as in the Tour of Flanders 2010 which he won last week: Fabian Cancellara (Team Saxo Bank) placed an attack at the right moment in the 108th edition of Paris-Roubaix, continued as if he was doing an individual time trial and finished as the winner in the Vélodrome of Roubaix!
His main competitor Tom Boonen (Quick Step) finished 5th behind Thor Hushovd (Cervélo TestTeam), Juan Antonio Flecha (Team Sky) and Roger Hammond (Cervélo TestTeam).

La liste des partants des 25 équipes de Paris-Roubaix 2010
This Sunday, between Compiègne and Roubaix, the queen race of the classics, the 108th edition of Paris-Roubaix will take place.
The Paris-Roubaix 2010 route, also known as the Hell of the North, hasn't changed since last year, but you'll find it for the very first time, as a whole, with all cobble zones, on Google Maps on paris.thover.com. Tom Boonen passed the finish line on Roubaix' vélodrome first and thereby won this difficult classic cycling race.
After a few escapes without many success three riders finally took a lead when they jumped away at 10 kilometers from the first cobbled stone zone: the Dutch Matthé Pronk (Cycle Collstrop), the Belgian Jan Kuycks (Landbouwkrediet-Tönissteiner) and the Russian Alexander Serov (Tinkoff Credit Systems).
