The presentation of the Tour de France is usually also the occasion to give the invitees and especially the Tour followers their goose flesh by showing images of the past Tour de France: a summary of 3 weeks of adventures in less than 10 minutes. Yesterday in the Palais des Congrès in Paris the Tour de France 2010 route was finally officially presented.
Predicted since a few weeks already on paris.thover.com and updated to its final version (indeed, I was 100% right!) the night before the presentation, the route was not really a surprise anymore for me and the readers of my blog!
This article presents the different stages, the start and finish cities, the mountains and other climbs which will be part of the stages and the reactions on the Tour de France 2010 route. A Tour which can be seen as a flashback on its own history!

In addition to the Paris-Nice 2008 track, ASO yesterday also announced a list of potential candidates for the Tour de France 2010 Grand Départ.
After the start from Brest for the Tour de France 2008 and from Monaco for the Tour de France 2009, 2010 will be for Düsseldorf in Germany or for Rotterdam or Utrecht in The Netherlands.
The two Dutch cities were already official candidate for the Grand Départ in 2009 and had told they were slightly disappointed to hear that would be in Monaco.
