Tonight at 10.04PM the Vuelta a España 2010 will start in Sevilla with a team time trial. Indeed, the Vuelta a España celebrates its 75th anniversary by starting with a nightly stage which will finish for the last team only at 11.42PM!!

22 teams participate in the Tour of Spain 2010 with each 9 riders (for a total of 198 riders). The participating teams are 17 of the 18 UCI ProTour teams (AG2R La Mondiale, Astana, Caisse d'Epargne, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Footon-Servetto, FDJ, Garmin-Transitions, Lampre-Farnese Vini, Liquigas-Doimo, Omega Pharma-Lotto, Quick Step, ...

Vuelta a España 2010: the 75 year old Tour of Spain's official route unveiled
In 2010 the Vuelta celebrates its 75th anniversary. From Saturday 28 August 2010 until Sunday 19 September 2010 the riders will go from Sevilla to Madrid in about 3,337.9 kilometers.

This 65th edition starts with a spectacular team time trial by night in the streets of Sevilla in the South of Spain.
