The 2010 Paris-Nice route on Google Maps / Google Earth
A month ago I I announced the official route for Paris-Nice 2010. I presented the start and finish cities and the profiles of the mountain stages.

In this article you'll find, as usual, all details of the route including the route and time schedules (itinéraires horaires), the stage profiles of all stages and of course the route of this 68th edition of the Race to the sun on Google Maps/Google Earth!

The Santos Tour Down Under 2010 route on Google Maps & Google Earth
From 17 till 24 January 2010 the 12th Tour Down Under will take place in South Australia under the name Santos Tour Down Under.
In this article you can find the details of the 6 stages and of the Down Under Classic (Cancer Council Helpline Classic). You also find the route of the 794,5 kilometers of this Tour Down Under 2010 on Google Maps -exclusively on paris.thover.com- with the possibility to download all stages in a KML file to open it in Google Earth, so you can discover the area where this first race of the UCI ProTour 2010 will take place. It even allows you to do a virtual fly-over of the stages in Google Earth. For the very first time you can also find the profiles of all stages based on the routes I've drawn in Google Maps.

Paris-Tours 2009 : route (Google Maps/Google Earth), participants, numbers, ...
Tomorrow Paris-Tours 2009, also known as the Classique des feuilles mortes: the classic of the falling leaves, will take place. The start of this 103rd edition is for the very first time in Chartres.

In this article you'll find all you wanted to know about this end of the season classic: the full route, the route in Google Maps and a downloadable version of the route in Google Earth, the full itinerary and times, the 25 participating teams and the list of participants with their numbers.
The start from Chartres
Since 1994 Paris-Tours always started in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines. On 9 September however, A.S.O. signed a contract with the Eure-et-Loir department for the organisation of the start of Paris-Tours from 2009 till 2013.

World Championships in Mendrisio: list of participants Elite with their numbers and the route in Google Maps / Google Earth
Tomorrow, Sunday 26 September 2009, 202 riders will be at the start of the stage in line Elites of the World Championships 2009 in Mendrisio.

In this article you'll find the full list of selections for all participating countries including their numbers.

Those 202 riders will ride 262,2 kilometers on a 13,9 kilometer circuit which they will ride 19 times. You can also discover the route in this article on a Google Maps map, also allowing you to view it in Google Earth and thus make a virtual fly-over!

Much later than usual, A.S.O., the organisor of the Tour de France, published the detailed routes and timings of the Tour de France 2009 last Wednesday.

Since I always try to provide you with that little bit of extra information compared to what you can find elsewhere online, it took me some more time but now you can discover not only the detailed routes and timings which list all towns and cities the Tour de France stages visit, but also maps of each of the stages in Google Maps with the possibility to download the full route in Google Earth. If you would like to do a virtual fly-over of the stages' routes, you'll find what you're looking for at the end of this article!

The Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré 2009: - exlusivity - the full route in Google Maps / Google Earth, selected riders and their numbers

Exclusive: the stages of the Tour du Limousin 2009 in Google Maps/Google Earth and the participating teams
Last Tuesday the route of the Tour du Limousin 2009 was officially announced. At the end of November the different stages were announced and you could discover the different start- and finish cities here at the end of December.

The details about the route of the different stages and all cities and towns the Tour du Limousin visits are now known.

At the end of November 2008 I published the first version of my article about the rumours of the Paris-Nice 2009 route.

As it has now become usual, together with the help of some of my loyal readers (thanks Franck ! ;-), I regularly updated this article as soon as new rumours were published and in the end ... when the route was finally officially anounced on 29 January it turned out to be 100% correct with all start and finish cities of all 8 stages !

That's why I decided not to update my article with rumours but to focus on the creation of a map with this full route of Paris-Nice 2009 in Google Maps / Google Earth. From now on you can exclusively discover the result at paris.thover.com !

On 25 October 2007 you've discovered here the Tour de France 2008 stages! At that time I published - just after the official presentation in the Palais des Congrès in Paris - all start and finish cities of the 21 Tour de France stages.

Since middle of March the precise lists of cities the riders will see during the Tour have been announced for the first 8 stages, during Paris-Nice the information on stages 9 and 10 have been published and mid May the other stages have finally also been published. In this article you'll find the most important information about the exact track of all stages and the full Tour de France 2008 track on Google Earth!!
